Welcome to the MMPCG website
Welcome to the website of the Milwaukee Metro Polymer Clay Guild. While we are located in Milwaukee, we have members from all over SE Wisconsin. We meet once a month for fun, education and sharing our passion for polymer clay Art. The guild is open to anyone with an interest in polymer clay.

What is Polymer Clay?
Polymer Clay is synthetic clay, made from polyvinyl chloride. This clay remains soft for an indefinite period, until it is cured by heat.  There are different brands of polymer clay, that each has unique characteristics.  Some are softer, some are stiffer, and some bake (or cure) at higher or lower temperatures.  Each brand comes in a wide variety of colors.  When soft it can be molded into a variety of shapes.  After baking the clay can be sanded, buffed and polished or carved.  The colors remain consistent throughout the piece.  Just about anything can be created with polymer clay, all it takes is a little imagination.
